American University of Sharjah is hiring a HR Coordinator – Part Time – Employee Services American University of Sharjah in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position.
American University of Sharjah needs an HR Coordinator to support its Employee Services department. This full time role involves assisting with day to day operations related to employee relations. You will play a key role in implementing new HR policies. You will also act as the contact person between IT and employees. Your goal is to ensure policy changes are accurately configured, tested, and communicated across the organization. If you hold a bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, this role suits you. Two to three years of HR experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic is essential.
Assist in the rollout and integration of new HR policies into Oracle HCM
Coordinate with the IT Department to configure and update policy related modules such as leaves
Conduct data entry, audits, and testing of modules in Oracle HCM
Ensure system accuracy after implementation
Document system changes and maintain up to date records of policy configurations
Support employee queries related to Oracle system changes or new HR policies
Assist in drafting internal communications, templates, and guides for policy updates
Participate in User Acceptance Testing sessions when applicable
Provide and gather feedback during UAT
Create and maintain secure and confidential HR databases and filing systems
Assist with data entry as needed
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records while ensuring confidentiality
Prepare official letters and employee contracts
Create and update process templates
Prepare reports and presentations on HR related metrics
Support general HR administrative tasks as assigned
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of two to three years of experience working in an HR Department
Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic
Two or more years of HR experience
Oracle HCM or similar HRIS experience is preferred
Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of PowerBI is preferred
Ability to work independently and on own initiative
