This full time leadership role involves teaching Math at IGCSE and A Level. You will also lead a team of teachers and develop the curriculum. Key Responsibilities for Head of Math In ISCS Nad Al Sheba Dubai, UAE

• Lead the secondary Math department. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that align with UK National Curriculum objectives. Ensure high quality teaching across IGCSE and A Level courses.
• Teach Math to secondary students. Use data disaggregation and analysis to differentiate instruction. Challenge and inspire pupils to deepen their mathematical knowledge.
• Assess and record student progress regularly. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve. Prepare them successfully for IGCSE and A Level examinations.

Qualifications

You need a minimum of a bachelor degree in Mathematics. A minimum of five years of experience teaching secondary level Math, including IGCSE and A Levels, is required. A minimum of two years of experience leading a secondary Math department or serving as second in department is essential. You must hold a teaching qualification relevant to the UK National Curriculum. Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation for students is important. UAE based candidates with IKTHAR, KHDA, or ADEK approval are preferred. A proven track record of securing outstanding results is essential.
