About the Role

Noya British School in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Head of Creative and Performative Arts to lead and develop the creative arts curriculum for the academic year 2026/2027. Additionally, this leadership position involves overseeing the delivery of art, music, drama, and other creative subjects across the school. Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Creative and Performative Arts, you will be responsible for leading and managing the creative arts department to achieve outstanding educational outcomes. Moreover, you will develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that inspires creativity and artistic excellence. In addition, you will mentor and support teachers within the department to ensure high-quality instruction. Furthermore, you will organise school-wide events, performances, and exhibitions that showcase student talent and achievement. You will also monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment across all creative subjects.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of six years of experience teaching the English National Curriculum is required. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate proven leadership experience in managing a creative arts department or similar faculty. Furthermore, strong organisational skills and the ability to inspire both staff and students are essential for this role. Experience in the UAE or international school settings is highly desirable.
