Responsibilities of Gynecology Nurse

• Assist Gynecologists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries in a supportive role.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to female patients undergoing gynecological treatments.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Execute medical tasks under the guidance and supervision of the Gynecologists.
• Educate patients and their families about gynecological health, treatments, and procedures.
• Book patients for appointment, procedure, or treatment according to treatment plan.
• Follow up on patient’s diagnostic tests and coordinate with physician for informing patients about their results, treatment.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as per Hospital Policies and Procedures.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Female Gynecology Nurse at Novomed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid DHA license.
• Previous experience in a gynecology department or similar healthcare setting is preferable.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient knowledge of gynecological procedures, terminology, and patient care protocols.
