Key Objectives and Creative Responsibilities

The Filmmaker Specialist will manage and oversee all visual and creative aspects of video production at AUE. In addition, the role involves directing scripts, scenes, and characters to ensure that performances bring each narrative to life in an engaging and professionally produced manner. Moreover, the Filmmaker is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing video campaigns that align with AUE’s institutional brand guidelines and communication strategy. Production and Technical Responsibilities

The Filmmaker Specialist will manage the full video production cycle, from pre-production planning and scripting through filming, editing, and final delivery. In addition, the role requires experience in producing content for multiple platforms, including social media, university websites, event screens, and broadcast media. Hospitality and Events Industry Experience

Additionally, experience filming live events, capturing keynote presentations, and producing event highlight reels and promotional films is highly desirable. Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Film Production, Media Production, Visual Communication, or a closely related field. Additionally, a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in filmmaking, video production, or a related creative role is required. A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating expertise in both scripted productions and live event coverage is essential. Moreover, proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or comparable industry-standard editing platforms is required, along with experience in color grading, motion graphics, and audio post-production workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Filmmaker Specialist role is AED 13,000 to AED 15,000 per month, in addition to other applicable benefits.
