School of Digital Public Health is hiring a Epidemiology – Open Rank Faculty Positions Abu Dhabi, UAE in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position.

Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence needs passionate faculty members for its Department of Epidemiology within the School of Public Health. This full time role involves delivering high quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. You will also engage in interdisciplinary research using unique datasets from the Human Phenotype Project. This project is a large scale longitudinal cohort and biobank. Research areas include pandemic modeling, pathogen genomics, epidemiological big data analytics, global health informatics, and vaccine development strategies. If you have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, this role is for you. We invite candidates at all levels: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.

Key Responsibilities for Epidemiology

• Deliver high quality instruction in epidemiology and public health. Mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels. Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary research. Use multi omic insights from the Human Phenotype Project and other large scale cohorts. Identify risk factors and disease mechanisms.
• Develop AI driven surveillance tools. Design cutting edge interventions to mitigate current and emerging infectious threats worldwide. Publish research findings in top tier journals.
• Collaborate with leading AI researchers. Work on cutting edge projects. Contribute to the university’s growth as a hub for AI excellence.
• Participate in departmental activities and university service. Finally, help translate research into personalized prevention strategies and innovative therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

You need a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field. Demonstrated excellence in conducting innovative and impactful research is required. An interest in mentoring students is essential. Candidates should have a strong publication record and a Google Scholar H Index. We welcome applicants at Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels.
