About the Role

The Echocardiographer will work within the Cardiology department at Harley Street Medical Centre, performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations to support cardiologists in patient evaluation and clinical decision-making. Furthermore, the role involves conducting echocardiograms and related procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical accuracy. Moreover, the successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes for every patient.

Key Responsibilities for Echocardiographer at Harley Street Medical Centre Dubai

• Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental protocols
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment to manufacturer and facility standards
• Document and record examination findings accurately in patient electronic health records
• Coordinate with cardiologists to communicate diagnostic findings and support treatment planning
• Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their safety, comfort, and dignity
• Manage imaging data and ensure accurate labeling and storage of all cardiac studies
• Support the development and review of departmental protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with infection control, health and safety, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to training and mentoring of junior clinical staff as required
• Promote a patient-centered approach in all aspects of clinical care delivery

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program or equivalent education and training
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred
• Minimum two years of recent related work experience as a Cardiology Technician or Echocardiographer
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and sonographic evaluation protocols
• Valid UAE licensure (DHA/DOH/MOH) or eligibility for UAE licensure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records management
