Responsibilities of Teacher Assistant

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities that meet the needs of the students
• Provide support to students in the classroom, including one-on-one assistance, small group instruction, and behavior management
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, respected, and valued
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Assist with classroom management, organization, and maintenance of instructional materials and resources
• Monitor student progress and behavior, and communicate with the lead teacher and parents/guardians as needed
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, recess, and other activities throughout the school day
• Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
• Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and productive learning environment

Requirements of Teacher Assistant

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Previous 1-2 years experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred
