Dubai Duty Free (DDF) is presently seeking applications from desirous candidates for the position of Assistant Supervisor Visual Merchandising. Job Purpose of An Assistant Supervisor Visual Merchandising
- To create display and merchandising solutions according to the annual display and activity program in all Dubai Duty Free locations.
- To implement the visual display concepts, standards and plans for all DDF retail areas and ensure consistent application.
Your Duties As An Assistant Supervisor Visual Merchandising
- Initiate, organize and implement creative solutions and designs for the annual display activity program in all DDF locations.
- Maintain DDF display standard at all times in all retail locations.
- Source all required display materials and ensures that the cost is within budget.
- Implement the visual display concept as instructed with the minimum disruption to retail areas.
- Assemble and produce display props in accordance with identified display concepts.
- Implement promotional display directives.
- Keep and control display stocks and materials.
- Constantly coordinate and collaborate with other Display team member with regard to the daily activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and DCA maintenance to ensure that only professional and qualified staff will handle the technical requirements to the shop.
- Perform any other tasks as deemed necessary by the Supervisor Visual Merchandising.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts or its equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Preferably with 3 years working experience as Assistant Supervisor Visual Merchandising.
Nationalities
- All nationalities of UAE.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Excellent communication skills in written & spoken english.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware & software (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud & AutoCAD).
- Propose new and original ideas, approaches and solutions to problems.
- Able to maintain high standards of honesty and trustworthiness.
