Responsibilities of Assistant Nurse MS Ward

• Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with appropriate MCME risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence.
• Utilize medical and healthcare equipment and maintain the stock of supplies.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Maintain the on going communication with the staff nurse regarding the health status of patients.
• Act as patient advocate.
• Demonstrate an understanding of patient’s privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements

Following are the requirements for the role of Assistant Nurse MS Ward at Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital:

• Nursing Diploma.
• At least two years of experience in own country.
• UAE experience would be beneficial.
• Active BLS, fire & safety training and infection control training.
• Valid MOH license.
