Looking for Advanced Care Paramedic jobs in Abu Dhabi? Via Medica International Healthcare is hiring an Advanced Care Paramedic to join their emergency response team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Furthermore, this is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an immediate start date for licensed professionals.
About the Role
The Advanced Care Paramedic will deliver pre-hospital emergency medical care across Abu Dhabi under the regulatory framework of the Department of Health. Moreover, this position operates on a 60-hour weekly schedule within a dynamic and fast-paced emergency services environment. Furthermore, the successful candidate must hold a valid DOH active license or DOH eligibility letter and demonstrate a minimum of one year of post-registration clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond swiftly to emergency medical calls and provide advanced pre-hospital patient care
- Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate advanced life support interventions
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs during transport to healthcare facilities
- Operate, inspect, and maintain ambulance equipment and medical supply inventory
- Coordinate efficiently with dispatch teams, hospitals, and fellow emergency personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation and incident reports
- Adhere strictly to DOH Abu Dhabi emergency medical protocols and safety regulations
- Support continuous quality improvement in pre-hospital care delivery
- Lead scene management and triage during multi-casualty incidents as required
- Participate in team training sessions, clinical audits, and professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DOH) active license or DOH eligibility letter (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of post-registration experience as a paramedic
- Diploma or degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, or a related field
- Strong clinical knowledge of advanced life support and emergency response protocols
- Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills under pressure
- Immediate availability to join is required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
