Duties Of Sales Engineer

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of casing, pipes, stop collars, centralizers, drill bits, and other related products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.(Especially who has experience and contact with ADNOC ).
  • Understand client needs and provide technical solutions for casing, pipes, stop collars, centralizers, drill bits, and other products.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to clients during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and concerns.

Quotation and Proposal Preparation:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Analyze competitor activities and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams.
  • Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Provide feedback on market demands and product improvements.

Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Generate regular reports for management review.

Training and Development:

  • Stay informed about product updates and industry best practices.
  • Provide training to sales support staff and other relevant teams.

Requirements For Sales Engineer

The eligibility requirements for the role of Sales Engineer are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, at least 2-3 years and familiar with ADNOC procedure.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong technical knowledge of casing, pipes, stop collars, centralizers, drill bits, and related equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
