Responsibilities of A PMC Commissioning Manager

• Lead the UZ1.2MMBD Commissioning team to support the objectives and strategies.
• Champion safety in all construction aspects of UZ1.2MMBD and promote the safety objective that “Nobody gets Hurt”.
• Manage the 1.2MMBD Module Fabrication and On Island Commissioning teams responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure commissioning execution certainty.
• Manage the UZ1.2MMBD Contractor’s commissioning planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with UZ1.2MMBD Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements.
• Establish a commissioning organization to implement the 1.2MMBD Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of UZ1.2MMBD commissioning team positions.
• Provide execution strategy support to the UZ1.2MMBD Project Team.
• Ensure that the 1.2MMBD Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures.
• Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for 1.2MMBD commissioning, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work.
• Assist in the review and implementation of all 1.2MMBD Contractor safety plans.
• Steward interfaces and interactions between the UZ1.2MMBD Contractor and other UZ1.2MMBD Project entities, Production Operations, and Drilling.
• Manage the interface with ADNOC Offshore OPCO to execute brownfield works in order to minimize disruption in ongoing production operations.
• Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability.
• Report commissioning progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team.
• Lead UZ1.2MMBD commissioning planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities.
• Sponsor commissioning related readiness reviews, workshops and CERs.
• Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals.
• Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long term goals that support the UZ1.2MMBD project objectives.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of PMC Commissioning Manager are as under:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Professional Engineer accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of previous commissioning management experience on large oil and gas development projects.
•  Execellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures.
