Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital ( SRH ) presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Charge Nurse in long term care unit in Al Rawdah, W58, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

About Role of Charge Nurse

• Establishes and contributes to the overall continuous improvement of clinical practice.
• Effectiveness of high quality care across all wings within SRH under the direction of the nurse manager by managing, supervising and supporting all nursing staff, while also treating a limited number of patients.

Requirements for Role of Charge Nurse

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
• Post graduate study highly preferred.
• Valid DOH license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience post qualification including 2 years in the similar or leadership role.
• Mentorship/preceptorship of new/junior staff.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Able to work as an effective leader.
• Able to develop policy or guidelines.
• Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Able to manage difficult situations.
• Uses own initiative and is able to take decisions.
• Up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues.
