Responsibilities of Swimming Educational Assistant

• Assist the teacher with swimming related activities.
• Run small group aquatics activities as directed by the teacher.
• Develop familiarity with relevant aspects of the swimming curriculum.
• Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
• The competitive swimming program is running before and after school and the swimming galas are sometimes during the weekend.
• The Swimming assistant teacher must be available for all events on the calendar.
• Ensure tact, confidentiality and discretion at all times. Maintain confidential information and ensure information pertaining to students and the school is not shared or discussed without the approval of the teacher or senior management team.

Job Requirements of Swimming Educational Assistant

• Physical Education Degree Required.
• Minimum 1-2 year experience in similar role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Communication skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) positive mindset customer service oriented collaboration with the team.
• Organization skills: Can work under pressure respect the deadline time management.
• IT skills: Proficiency in MS Office problem solving and trouble shooting.
• Others: Use Camera during the swimming events and prepare collage montage for the communication department and for the awards ceremonies.
• Able to handle a range of tasks, work under pressure and relate well to children and colleagues.
