Dubai Academic Healthcare Corporation (DAHC) is presently seeking suitably qualified candidate  for job role of Specialist Registrar (Anaesthesia). The successful candidate will work at Anesthesia Department of DAHC. This job role is open for all nationalities residing in UAE, however priority would be given to the UAE nationals. Job Purpose of A Specialist Registrar

• Provide specialized medical care.
• Take part in specialized patient care.
• Training of junior staff and employees in specialty.
• Participate in research activities of specialty.

Job Duties of A Specialist Registrar

• Ensures that optimal care is being provided to inpatients, outpatients and Emergency Department patients.
• Investigate, diagnose and treat medically or surgically referred ill patients according to privileges and in collaboration & mentorship of the SSR and the consultant.
• Participates in teaching activities in the Department and provides regular seminars or presentations.
• Involvement in research, quality related activities and other clinical/administrative meetings when deemed necessary by the HOD and the hospital administration.
• Involvement in the departmental and hospital wide performance monitoring & Improvement activities.
• Attains the best practices in speciality / field and constantly seeks to update medical knowledge and skills.
• Assists in promoting health education through providing education and support for junior staff and involvement in continuous medical education (CME).
• Undertakes some managerial responsibilities such as workload planning and staffing of the department.
• Maintains highest professional standards of conduct in line with organization’s policies and international standards.
• Represents the Department in committees and taskforces, if assigned.
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties as assigned by higher authorities or which may fall within the scope of job.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with a recognized Membership / Fellow ship/Board or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in similar role.
• All nationalities can apply.
• Priority for UAE national.
