First Abu Dhabi Bank is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Specialist Project Account. The job holder is responsible to manage and oversee project finances, ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting for various bank projects.

Responsibilities of Specialist Project Account

  • Ensure that work activities are in line with Bank’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s).
  • Project Account Management.
  • Coordination with Internal & External stakeholders.
  • Preparation of MIS.
  • Contribute to continuous Process improvement.
  • Any other activities as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Maintain the Project status with WIP details for monthly review.
  • Maintain CIP Asset details for tracking and capitalization.
  • Assigning Assets(HW & SW) to respective CMBD application.
  • Tracking of Project spends against Budget.
  • Follow-up with Project manager to ensure accuracy and timely closure of projects.
  • Perform the capitalization of assets related to Projects.
  • Proofing of GL Accounts pertaining to Projects and CIP.

Requirements of Specialist Project Account

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related discipline.
  • 7 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Exposure to Fixed Asset module and to Project Costing module in Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Advanced user of MS Office especially Excel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
