As a Social Media & PR Specialist at Redtag in Dubai, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing social media accounts, creating content, engaging with followers and overseeing public relations activities.

Responsibilities of Social Media & PR Specialist

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter and Pinterest, ensuring alignment with brand’s objectives and identity with specific KPIs
  • Paid Advertising: Proficiency in META Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snap Ads creation and Google Ads to effectively manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns.
  • Brand Ambassador/Influencer Campaigns: Plan, execute and manage influencer campaigns across the GCC region, from the initial ideation to tracking and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Liaise with agencies for content creation and execution.
  • Influencer Reporting: Analyze the impact of influencer partnerships, track metrics and report on the performance of influencer campaigns.
  • Implement changes based on insights gathered.
  • Event Activations: Plan and execute in-store event activations for important seasonal launches such as National Day, Ramadan, Back to School and more, ensuring a strong online presence and engagement during these events.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant captions, content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe software is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and other relevant software to streamline and optimize social media efforts.
  • Public Relations (PR) Collaboration: Collaborate with external PR agencies to plan and execute PR campaigns that align with the brand’s objectives.
  • Work closely with the agency to develop PR strategies that enhance the brand’s visibility and reputation.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for social media campaigns & PR, ensuring efficient spending and delivering maximum ROI.

  • Interact with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Agency to ensure marketing and promotional activities are aligned with the brand strategy and standards.

  • Interact with Store team for any event based planning.

Requirements for Role of Social Media & PR Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years experience as a Social Media Manager with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and influencer reporting.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest) and their respective best practices.
  • Proficiency in META Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snap Ads creation and Google Ads.
