Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is currently hiring a Senior Cardiovascular Technologist for their Cardiology Services department. Additionally, this full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced cardiac technologists to work with advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac technologies.
About the Role
The Senior Cardiovascular Technologist at SSMC performs advanced Cardiac Diagnostic and Interventional techniques including Cardiac Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterizations, Electrophysiology studies, and Ambulatory Cardiac Procedures. Furthermore, the role involves interpreting and reporting on various Cardiac Procedures. Moreover, the successful candidate will work within SSMC’s state-of-the-art Cardiology Services department alongside a multidisciplinary team of cardiac specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced Cardiac Echocardiography procedures with accurate interpretation and reporting
- Assist in Cardiac Catheterizations and interventional cardiology procedures
- Conduct Electrophysiology studies and ambulatory cardiac monitoring procedures
- Interpret and report on various cardiac diagnostic procedures accurately
- Maintain and operate advanced cardiovascular diagnostic equipment safely
- Collaborate with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons for optimal patient care delivery
- Monitor patients during cardiac procedures and respond to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation of all cardiac procedures and patient records
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement in cardiac diagnostic services
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular program or allied health specialized program (minimum 2-year syllabus)
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Cath Lab, Vascular, Echocardiography, or ECG technology
- Registration with Cardiovascular Credentialing International, ARDMS, RCCP UK, or equivalent body
- Current National License with eligibility for DOH licensure in Abu Dhabi
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in advanced cardiac diagnostic and interventional techniques
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting cardiac diagnostic results
