About the Role
As a School Counsellor at The Millennium School Dubai, you will support students’ social, emotional, behavioural, and academic development through professional counselling services. Moreover, you will drive school-wide wellbeing programmes, workshops, and awareness campaigns aligned with the school’s pastoral care framework. The Millennium School sits within the GEMS Education network, which operates 49 schools across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires providing individual and group counselling for students, staff, and parents. Furthermore, you will support crisis intervention efforts and develop personalised support plans for students with specific needs. Consequently, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and leadership teams to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions. In addition, maintaining confidential and accurate case records in line with safeguarding and regulatory guidelines forms a core part of this position.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a recognised degree in psychology, counselling, or a related field. Subsequently, a minimum of two years of counselling experience in an educational setting proves essential. As a result, strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work within a diverse school community stand as key attributes for success in this position.
