GEMS Education is hiring a History Teacher at GEMS Education Dubai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position.

GEMS Education is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join one of its schools in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver engaging history lessons from KS3 through to A-Level, developing students’ analytical thinking and understanding of the past.

Key Responsibilities for History Teacher at GEMS Education Dubai

• Teach History across KS3, KS4 and KS5 within the British curriculum
• Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level History examinations
• Use source analysis, debate and discussion-based teaching approaches
• Develop students’ essay writing and critical analysis skills
• Organise history enrichment activities and educational visits

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in History or a related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of history teaching experience at secondary level
• Experience with Edexcel, AQA or Cambridge History syllabi
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
