About the Role

The Radiology Manager at Fakeeh University Hospital is responsible for providing the highest quality radiology care to patients and clients across the department. Furthermore, this leadership role requires working closely with patients, care providers, and medical staff to ensure optimal diagnostic imaging services. Moreover, the manager will mentor and supervise all staff who report to them, maintaining clinical excellence throughout the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all radiology department operations and daily workflows
• Supervise and mentor radiology technicians, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Oversee plain X-ray, mammography, CT, and MRI imaging services
• Develop and implement departmental protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments for integrated patient care
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and technology upgrades
• Monitor radiation safety compliance and infection control standards
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff professional development
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and JCI accreditation standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or related medical imaging field
• Minimum 5 years of continuous post-graduation experience in radiography
• Proficiency in all modules including plain X-rays, mammography, and basic CT
• Exposure to MRI imaging is highly desirable
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for radiology practice
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
