About the Role

The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population at Dr. Nicolas and Asp Centre. Moreover, the role encompasses diagnosing dental conditions, performing restorative and preventive treatments, and developing long-term treatment plans for patients. Additionally, the dentist will collaborate with specialists and support staff to ensure holistic oral healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities for General Dentist at Dr. Nicolas and Asp Centre

• Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canal treatments
• Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate urgent care interventions
• Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic imaging to guide clinical decisions
• Develop preventive care strategies and educate patients on oral health maintenance
• Coordinate with dental specialists for complex cases requiring multidisciplinary care
• Maintain compliance with DHA clinical standards and infection control protocols
• Contribute to the clinic’s quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Mentor junior dental staff and dental hygienists within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited university
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a General Dentist
• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience in general dentistry
• Proficiency in restorative dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics procedures
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities
• Excellent patient management and communication skills in English
