Project Manager Seddiqi Holding Dubai

Seddiqi Holding is looking for an IT Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing IT-related projects from inception to completion. Reporting to the Head of IT Governance & Risk, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with specified requirements and quality standards. Candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project resources and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Candidate requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, IT governance, risk management and the ability to navigate complex IT landscapes. Also contribute to the development of project management standards and practices within the organization.

Responsibilities of Role of Project Manager

• Strategic: Develop and implement project plans that align with the organization’s strategic IT objectives and governance framework, ensuring projects contribute to long-term goals.
• Lead project teams in executing IT projects, focusing on strategic alignment with business goals, technological innovation and IT standards.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in project management, contributing to the maturity of the IT department’s project management capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to ensure projects support the overall IT strategy and add value to the business.
• Engage in proactive risk management practices, ensuring project alignment with IT governance, risk policies and compliance requirements.
• Advocate for the integration of sustainable and ethical considerations in project execution, aligning with organizational values and ESG goals.
• Operational: Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, manage resources and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders, including the Head of IT Governance & Risk.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies and guidelines.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability.
• Document project processes and outcomes, contributing to knowledge sharing and organizational learning.

Requirements for Role of Project Manager

• Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in a related rield.
• 5-8 years experience in IT project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Experience in IT governance and risk management.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
