Job Purpose of A Process Engineer

• Contribute to development and deployment of cutting edge technologies that have a significant impact on reducing carbon emissions and creating a sustainable future.
• Support active client studies to promote technology offerings in the same low carbon solutions sector.

Your Job Duties As A Process Engineer At National Oilwell Varco (NOV) Dubai, UAE

• Work under the direction of the low carbon solution team.
• Support global tendering as technical specialization lead for low carbon solutions technologies.
• Preform early study / work on CCS & hydrogen applications.
• Support the standardization & development of the core product port folio.
• Perform simulations, studies and develop heat & mass balances.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for low carbon solution technologies.
• Size process equipment (pressure vessels, 2-Phase Separators, heat exchangers, compressors, filters, pumps etc).
• Participate in FEED studies.
• Support and build process expertise to bring forward commercial opportunities to market.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• MSc in process or chemical engineering.

Or

• BSc In Process or Chemical Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in same areas.

Experience

• More than 3 years experience in process engineering industry.
• Process engineering experience, P&ID design, HAZOP, process simulation, plant and facilities operations and equipment design.
• Experience with gas processing technologies such as Amine system, PSA, TEG & solid desiccant dehydration systems.
• Experience with CCUS & hydrogen technologies is a plus.
• Experience in writing government grants for development programs is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Good communication skills in particular ability to create high quality reports.
• Detailed knowledge of process engineer documents and drawings (PFD/P&IDs).
• Knowledge of process simulation (Aspen, Hysys, Protreat, Prosim, Unisim).
• Knowledge of ASME and API standards.
• Computer know how including good command of Microsoft Office.
