Mediclinic Middle East is seeking a competent Pharmacy Manager to join their talented team at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The manager will lead and monitor the delivery of effective and efficient pharmacy services in line with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities of Pharmacy Manager

• To provide strong leadership to the pharmacy team.
• To ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medication in line with regulatory requirements and standards.
• To ensure effective inventory management practices are implemented, monitored and managed and stock is managed accordingly.
• To ensure compliance with related requirements set by the authorities and company to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are adhered to.
• Manage and monitor Pharmacy budget and finances.

Qualifications & Experience

The eligibility criteria for the position of Pharmacy Manager is as under:

• B. Pharm degree from an accredited institution and licensed as a Pharmacist with the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Master degree from an accredited institution will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years management experience in a Pharmacy of which at least 2 years has been in a hospital environment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Demonstrate a good understanding and application of all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and policies.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry and pharmaceutical product knowledge.
• Patient experience principles and related best practice.
• Stock management and control.
• Commercial awareness.
