Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence needs passionate faculty members for its Department of Personalized Medicine within the School of Public Health. This full time role involves delivering high quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. You will also engage in interdisciplinary research using unique datasets from the Human Phenotype Project. This project is a large scale longitudinal cohort and biobank. Research areas include novel biomarker discovery, clinical translation of multi omics data, AI driven therapeutic design, personalized diagnostics, and patient specific treatment optimization. If you have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, this role is for you. We invite candidates at all levels: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.

MBZUAI is a research focused university in Abu Dhabi. It is the first university dedicated entirely to AI advancement. The university empowers the next generation of AI leaders. In 2025, MBZUAI launched its first undergraduate program in AI with Business and Engineering streams. The School of Public Health aims to grow to 60 faculty members over the next three to four years. Faculty have full access to unique datasets including the Human Phenotype Project.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality instruction in personalized medicine and AI. Mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels. Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary research. Use longitudinal cohort data from the Human Phenotype Project. This includes clinical assessments, lifestyle monitoring, and health indicators. Develop predictive models and targeted interventions.
• Focus on tailoring therapeutic and preventive strategies to individual genetic, molecular, and lifestyle profiles. Translate multi omics data into clinical applications. Design AI driven therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with leading AI researchers. Work on cutting edge projects. Contribute to the university’s growth as a hub for AI excellence. Publish research findings in top tier journals.
• Participate in departmental activities and university service. Finally, help transform healthcare delivery through personalized medicine.

Qualifications

You need a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field. Demonstrated excellence in conducting innovative and impactful research is required. An interest in mentoring students is essential. Candidates should have a strong publication record and a Google Scholar H Index. We welcome applicants at Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels.
