Fakeeh University Hospital is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Consultant/ Specialist. As a PICU Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients. The successful candidate will provide expert medical advice, lead a team of healthcare professionals, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our pediatric care services.

Key Responsibilities of Pediatric Intensive Care PICU Specialist

• Provide high-quality medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals within the PICU.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research activities in PICU.

Education & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist/ Consultant at Fakeeh University Hospital:

• A Medical degree from recognized University plus Residency.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive care.
• Minimum 5-7 years of recent practice in busy PICU setup.

Licensure & Certification

• Must hold valid DHA license/registration as PICU Consultant/ Specialist.
• Must hold valid PALS certification.

Job Skills

• Must have ability to assess patients’ condition with critical thinking ability.
• Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of health care teams.
• Exceptional attention to details and analytical skills.
• Administration of medication and manage clinical risks.
