Dr. Rami Hamed Center (DRHC) is seeking a qualified and experienced Ophthalmologist to join their team in Dubai. The hospital announced this job opening on January 26, 2024 and is now accepting applications from interested candidates. This is a part-time on-site role.

Responsibilities of Ophthalmologist

• Responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the eyes.
• Performing laser surgeries.
• Prescribing corrective lenses.
• Conducting eye exams.
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.
• Keep informed as to current developments in the field of ophthalmology.
• Participate in the implementation of approved curative / preventive programs as they relate to Ophthalmology.
• Oversee and monitor and participate in QA programs as requested by the HOD.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Part time – Ophthalmologist at DRHC:

• Board certified or eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Expertise in the field of Medicine, Optometry, and Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated experience in performing laser surgeries and other ophthalmic procedures.
• Experience in managing ophthalmic emergencies and providing timely interventions.
• Must hold valid medical license to practice in Dubai.

Job Skills

• Excellent surgical and clinical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and attention to detail.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
