Purpose of A Senior Operations Risk Specialist

  • Implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
  • Implement integrated risk management to provide feedback in Enterprise level.
  • Implement the recommendation from World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Significant Operating Experience Report (SOER) 2015-2 for the 4 units in Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP).
  • Facilitate risk management for Operation Readiness Control Center (ORCC) and the Fuel Load Control Center (FLCC) of BNPP Units 3 and 4.

Job Duties of A Senior Operations Risk Specialist

  • Support ORCC & FLCC in identifying risks, managing risk review sessions and provide report to acheive Control Centers goals.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the ERM process with Work stream Leads, Function and Project Managers within Control Centers to minimize the businesss risks.
  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management documentation, including process descriptions, procedures, guidance and reference documents for Control Centers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in line with the businesss needs.
  • Work with Work Management function to ensure alignment & full implementation of the integrated risk management procedure.
  • Engage with all functions within the plant to review operational risks and report them on time to Nawah Risk Forum.
  • Coach and train Risk Coordinators within the plant, to ensure cascading knowledge to all levels of employees within the plant.
  • Develop & agree with stakeholder on plan of implementation for each recommendation.
  • Report progress & issues of management plan to the SOER Review Board.
  • Participate in all Pre Start up Review (PSUR) & Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) activities to address recommendation.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Essential: Bachelor in business management, risk management, engineering, social sciences, finance or equivalent.
  • Desired: Master degree in the same areas.

Experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 years experience on Nuclear Power Plant.
