About the Role

As a Medical Representative at Abbott Laboratories, you will be responsible for driving consistent sales growth and achieving business goals within your assigned regions across the UAE. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with team members, sharing knowledge and increasing efforts towards aligned sales plans. Moreover, this position is based in Abbott’s UAE office within the Established Pharmaceutical division, which focuses on delivering branded generic medicines across therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women’s health, and cardiometabolic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals (HCPs) across assigned territories
• Meet both the business and scientific needs of HCPs through effective product presentations
• Demonstrate and present Abbott EPD products to healthcare professionals with confidence
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Plan and schedule weekly and monthly timetables for day-to-day activities with clear KPIs
• Manage an assigned geographic area with a corresponding sales performance plan
• Provide consistent market feedback to support business strategy and decision-making
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts

Requirements

• Educational qualification in pharmaceutical or medical science is required
• 3–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales within the UAE market
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective HCP engagement
• Knowledge of gastroenterology, women’s health, cardiometabolic, or respiratory therapeutic areas is a plus
