The Senior Manager Supply Chain Management at Aster DM Healthcare will manage the supply chain function across GCC and work with warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers. The role will fulfill the demand raised by the Corporate vertical and other entities of Aster.
Responsibilities of Manager Supply Chain Management
- Review the supplier performance on various parameters like delivery performance, availability performance etc.
- Evaluate performance and productivity.
- Create demand forecast.
- Analyze accounting and financial data and present to management through monthly reports.
- Work closely with Brands / vendors to ensure the trade and marketing processes are rolled out.
- Shortlist Freight Forwarder on Shipment basis and ensure the best yield at all times.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers for demand planning and oversee the logistics operations as well as reduce the logistic spent year on year.
- Perform continuous training of the staff to keep up the change management and to facilitate various change management initiatives.
- Build and develop efficient, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate with all stakeholders with professionalism and respond to various inquires by providing information while keeping in consideration the confidentiality requirements and impact of transfer of information to the concerned parties.
- Develop and implement process and re-engineering the process and technology for purchase and warehouse to keep up the market and to have continuous efficiency improvement.
- Continuously engage in productivity improvement by enhancing processes.
Education & Experience
Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Senior Manager Supply Chain Management at Aster Pharmacies Group:
- Masters in supply chain management, business administration or any relevant field.
- MBA / Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain management (with minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, distribution for large retail/healthcare/hospitality group, or distribution and/ or company)..Experience managing a supply chain for a Retail / Healthcare group is an added advantage although not a prerequisite
