An exciting opportunity has been announced by Seddiqi Holding for the role of Manager Spare Parts in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible to pick spare parts for all proceeded internal repairs and entry on the repair system then placing the job in the appropriate place in the flow. Responsibilities of Manager Spare Parts

Key Duties

  • Inventory management through accurate recordkeeping of stock held and all transactions in and out of the department.
  • Assure that all members of the team are train to the appropriate level for the Brands in their care.
  • Ensure stock is maintain and items are store in their original packaging or in a condition that maintains their saleable/useable condition.
  • Creates and monitors the annual budget requirements for the Spare Parts department.
  • Defines, monitors and responds to KPIs for Spare Parts Department in agreement with the General Manager to ensure Department SLAs are met.
  • Ensure that health and safety best practice is followe by all members of the Spare Parts team.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Organize and supervise the rolling stock count.
  • Management of all slow-moving/obsolete stock.
  • Weekly monitoring and management of all back orders with communication to other department managers and staff as appropriate.
  • Contributes in the development of the overall SWS operational plans in coordination with departmental managers.
  • Stock forecasting through the use of the inventory system.
  • Total stock shrinkage/overage of not more than 1% by Brand for all inventory
  • Monitors and tracks department-related KPI’s, monitors performance against plan and initiates remedial actions in case of discrepancy between actual and expected performance.
  • Monitors staff performance provides feedback and undertakes performance appraisals for all members of the Spare Parts Team.
  • Oversees performance appraisals for all Spare Parts staff.
  • Orients new hires by delivering an on-boarding training plan covering all used technologies and documents and SOPs and measures understanding by conducting quizzes at the end of each area covered to identify gaps for re-training.
  • Sets annual objectives for the team and provides regular feedback on performance.
  • Manages a monthly roster ensuring full coverage across all days/shifts to ensure Spare Parts orders are delivere to technicians and orders placed with the brands.
  • Annual stock take/Rolling stock take discrepancies in stock vs inventory.
  • SLA’s for delivery of Spare Parts to workshop and external orders.

Requirements for Role of Manager Spare Parts

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in business.
  • 5-8 years job related experience and 2+ years in stock/logistics.
