Purpose of A Machine Operator

Job Purpose of a Machine Operator at National Oilwell Varco (NOV) is to function as the Operator for the Prime / Powder or Liquid Coating / Blasting station.

Job Duties As A Machine Operator At National Oilwell Varco (NOV) Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Function as the operator for prime / coating / blasting station.
• Perform prime, coating (powder / liquid), blast application as per the NOV Tuboscope SOP.
• Verify through visual inspection that the pipes are suitable for coating.
• Perform necessary qualification test by the use quality control gauges to verify that the pipes meet the SOP.
• Inform the Coating Plant Supervisor or his designee, if any disturbance or irregularities in the production flow occurs.
• Records daily production reports, quality assurance / control reports and all necessary reports regarding operation.
• Follow all the company HSEMS, QMS, policy and procedures
• Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the Plant Manager or his designee.

Qualification

• Technical Diploma.
• Training certificates are plus.

Experience

• 1-2 years of related experience in similar work environment.
