Purpose of A Senior Landscape Architect (Technical Design)

Landscape architect has to bring ideas to life by translating landscape design concepts into practical / on ground designs.

Your Job Duties As A Senior Landscape Architect (Technical Design) At DAMAC Group UAE

  • Review manage landscape design for multiple projects including high rise and master development and other projects.
  • Prepare concept design and design visions for landscape components of projects.
  • Review & work closely with lead consultants / Specialist landscape consultants.
  • Assists with post tender contract administration stage, coordinating with contractors and in house team carrying out site visits and construction inspections.
  • Good communication & reporting skills including reading and interpretation of drawings, documentation, reports, proposals, contracts and tender documents.
  • Good working knowledge of horticulture and environmental & life sciences as well as materials, equipment, technologies and workman ship related to landscape construction projects.
  • Staying abreast of latest developments as related to landscape projects.

What You’ll Need?

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / similar.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6-10 years of proven work experience in same role.
  • Project management & planning experience.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Good creative flair and imagination.
  • Good inter personal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Good communication & reporting skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet dead lines.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas to the landscape team.
