About the Role

As a KS2 Primary Teacher at Mamoura British Academy, you will teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum to Key Stage 2 students while ensuring every child reaches above expected expectations. Furthermore, you will plan and deliver lessons catering for the full ability range, providing support and interventions for students with EAL or additional learning needs. Moreover, you will demonstrate effective use of technology through innovative and creative lesson delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum at KS2 level
• Plan, prepare, and present lessons catering for the whole ability range
• Organise classroom resources and displays to create a positive learning environment
• Assess and record student progress using Learning Ladders
• Provide support and interventions for EAL students and those with additional needs
• Follow the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote TRACK Values
• Provide regular feedback to parents at conferences and meetings
• Run a weekly extra-curricular activity each term

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent
• Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum
• Teaching across the age and ability range with proven success
• Experience of the UK National Curriculum is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to school vision
• Passion for education and belief in the potential of every student
• Experience working in international schools is desirable
