Responsibilities of A Key Account Manager

  • Manage the distribution channels and meet sales and profitability targets for Gulf Regions.
  • Take actions in managing sales opportunities and customer negotiations.
  • Identify proficient sales strategies and tactics for generating leads and closing business.
  • Develop strong relationships with key strategic partners and, when appropriate, orchestrate the sales process through channel partners.
  • Assist the marketing team to help you best target regional prospects.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the platform solutions and projects for the OR/Online clients and partners.
  • Drive and implement the new business model to enhance sales penetration and customer experience.
  • Building a strong pipeline by proactively identifying viable markets, new partnerships & business opportunities.
  • Managing business negotiations, sales, closing deals, and preparation of contracts.
  • Actively contribute to building a forward-looking growth path.
  • Developing a sales plan for the business, driving leads, acquiring new business.
  • Managing the marketing budget and lead business optimization initiatives.

Requirements for Role of Key Account Manager

The eligibility requirements for role of a Key Account Manager are as under:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • MBA is preferable.
  • 8-10 years of experience in B2C sales management or retail sales capacity
  • IT Devices (LCD Monitors) experience is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

  • Proven oral and written communication abilities and good listening skills.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Ability to succeed working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Operations and Marketing, and always searching for solutions and ideas.
