North London Collegiate School Dubai is seeking a dedicated Junior School Class Teacher to join its outstanding team starting 1st September 2026. This full time role is based in Dubai within the prestigious Hartland development. If you are passionate about delivering an academically ambitious education and inspiring young learners from ages 3 to 11, this position offers an exceptional platform. You will teach within the IB Primary Years Programme, following the same rigorous standards that have made NLCS a world leader in education. North London Collegiate School Dubai opened in 2017 as part of the NLCS family of schools. The UK founding school has pioneered women’s education since 1850 and remains among the highest achieving schools in Britain. NLCS Dubai is a coeducational IB continuum school offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. The school aims to be the top performing IB World School in the UAE, replicating the ethos and standards of its UK parent school while remaining sensitive to local culture.
You need a recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, or equivalent. A bachelor degree in Education or a related subject is essential. Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme is highly desirable, but the school also welcomes candidates with strong experience in other British or international curricula. You should have a proven ability to inspire young children and support their academic and personal growth. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the ethos of rigorous scholarship and pastoral wellbeing are required.
The monthly salary for this Junior School Class Teacher role ranges from 12000 to 18000 AED depending on experience and qualifications. You will receive a competitive package including an initial two year contract, furnished accommodation, relocation costs if applicable, annual return flights to your home country, comprehensive health insurance, and tuition fees for eligible children. Additionally, you will be invited to travel to London for induction and training at the UK school, fully funded by the school’s partners.
