Adecco Middle East is hiring Interior Architect – Experience & Design exclusively from design portfolio for one of reputed clients into Aviation & Airport Industry based in Dubai. This job offers 9 months extendable contract.

Responsibilities of Interior Architect

• Broad creative and technical expertise to help design and deliver beautiful hospitality & commercially led aviation projects.
• Lead & actively design, project team of design thinkers who specialize in helping in the context of aviation, commercial and hospitality, creatively re-imagining existing buildings & interior spaces, become environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of interior design practice with emphasis on aviation design, experience design & planning.
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, integration of engineering disciplines and building codes.
• Work creatively with designers & the team to ensure that project story reflects the Airports design requirements and aspirations.
• The role ensures that any required resources are in place partake & coordinate the creative side of the project and input as required with drawings, presentations, schedules etc.
• Use knowledge of offering sound ideas and reasoning based upon the industry needs.
• Follow trades and reads articles about what is being tried in other markets and the success and failures to educate self so that ideas can be applied to own work and ideas.
• Openly shares ideas and knowledge with team to enhance the project. Manage and own the design stage reviews.
• Responsible to make, and enable, well informed design decisions on products and experience solutions that will positively impact the customer experience.
• Ensure those decisions are executed in a scalable and extensible manner to enable the experience design process.

Requirements of Interior Architect

• University degree qualified / Chartered Interior Architect / Interior Designer.
• 5 years professional experience.
• Commercial & Hospitality design experience preferred.
• Experience at an accountable level with interior architectural.
• Experience of design teams in commercial & hospitality projects, space planning & interior concepts.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Exceptionally high standards in the preparation & presentation of architectural / design drawings & studies using AutoCad / Sketchup.
• Ability to hand-draw & sketch to high standard High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, in 3D modelling.
• Understanding of the key drivers of hospitality & commercial interior design & planning.
• Can speak in hospitality terminology about occupancy, IT and the overall technology required.
• Understands operational needs of housekeeping, service, sales and catering, meetings.
• Can communicate and analyze problems with wider stakeholder & business unit team.
