About the Role

As an Inclusion Assistant at Al Qurm Charter School, you will provide support for individual pupils both inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in learning activities. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing individual education programmes linked to students’ IEP goals and contribute to monitoring their progress. Moreover, you will support students with additional needs including academic, physical, emotional, and behavioural difficulties while helping develop their social and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group support for pupils with additional needs inside and outside the classroom
• Assist in implementing individual education programmes linked to IEP goals
• Give individual instruction as prescribed by the teacher and monitor assigned work
• Prepare materials to scaffold classroom learning for individual students
• Promote independence by teaching clear and meaningful strategies to students
• Work with other professionals including speech therapists and occupational therapists
• Attend and deliver intervention for SaLT, OT, and ABA therapy to consolidate target skills
• Build close working relationships with homeroom and subject teachers

Requirements

• SEN qualification at Diploma level
• Minimum 2 years of SEN experience
• UAE National candidates only

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to health, safety, and child safeguarding
