Key Responsibilities for Music Teacher at Gems Wellington International School Dubai
- Deliver high-quality Secondary and A Level Music lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that foster a love of music and performance
- Differentiate instruction to support the diverse needs of learners in an international setting
- Contribute to the school’s extensive extra-curricular music programme and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to share outstanding teaching practice and support school improvement
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience of teaching Secondary A Level Music
- A growth mindset with a reflective and solution-focused approach to teaching
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to music education
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students, and parents
