Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of In Room Dining Order Taker. The selected candidate is responsible for assisting Guests ordering their Room Service Dining. Assisting the Room Service Team to ensure delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities of In Room Dining Order Taker

• Perform order taker duties and answer room service telephone.
• Set up room service trays and tables to prepare for incoming orders, as needed.
• Retrieve checks, set tables according to specifications, retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar and deliver food to guest rooms and meeting rooms, as needed.
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with local and company’s rules and regulations.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensure serving station is well stocked at all times.

Requirements of In Room Dining Order Taker

The requirements of In Room Dining Order Taker are as under:

• High School diploma or equivalent or certification/diploma in hospitality.
• 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field.
