Louzan Group is currently recruiting suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the role of Human Resources Generalist in Ajman. Candidate will play a critical role in managing various HR functions including administrative processes, employee relations and the transition to automated systems. Also reporting to the HR Manager. Candidate will requires a blend of operational expertise, strategic thinking and effective team leadership.

Responsibilities of Human Resources Generalist

  • HR Operations and Strategy: Aid in the development and optimization of HR operations.
  • Coordinate the performance review process and help devise comprehensive performance management strategies and tools.
  • Disciplinary and Compliance Management: Oversee disciplinary processes, including conducting investigations into misconduct, documenting incidents and recommending disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Internal Communication and Employee Engagement: Manage internal communications regarding announcements, promotions, holiday schedules, new joiners & policy updates and organize monthly birthday celebrations & other staff engagement activities.
  • Medical Insurance Management: Oversee the administration of medical insurance, ensuring efficient and accurate handling, initiate the renewal process 1-2 months in advance to ensure continuous coverage, manage timely cancellations for departing employees and prompt additions for new employees to maintain accurate insurance records.
  • Performance Management: Administer and coordinate the performance review process, assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive performance management strategies and tools.
  • Exit Interviews and Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews with departing employees, providing insights for organizational improvement.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee grievances and complaints, conducting investigations and offering resolution recommendations, advise managers on handling challenging employee situations.
  • Systems and Automation: Assist in transitioning from manual systems to automated HR processes, act as a point of contact for employee relations.
  • Budgeting and Policy Support: Assist in managing HR budgets in alignment with the company’s strategic direction, support the HR Manager in implementing and updating HR policies and procedures.

Requirements for Role of Human Resources Generalist

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related area.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in similar role.
  • Experience in implementing and managing HR software and systems.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong understanding of HR operations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Navigation, RAMCO) and MS Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
