A well established hotel, resort known for its dedication to cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional guest experiences in Dubai is currently seeking motivated and detail oriented individuals to join their team as Housekeeping Associates. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and quality standards of their facilities.

Responsibilities of Housekeeping Associates

  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas according to established standards and procedures.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities in guest rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas, including floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures, to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants.
  • Empty trash containers and remove waste to designated disposal areas, ensuring proper handling and disposal of recyclable and hazardous materials.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance issues, reporting any discrepancies or deficiencies to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with inventory control and stocking of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities to ensure adequate levels are maintained at all times.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and exposure to hazardous chemicals or substances.
  • Provide courteous and prompt assistance to guests, responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and objectives, working cooperatively to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Requirements of Housekeeping Associates

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks, lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years in housekeeping or cleaning services is preferred but not required.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality service and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and tasks effectively to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
