Job Purpose of A Health & Safety Manager
- The role of the HSE Manager/ Food Safety Manager develops, implements and continually improves the HSEQ and food safety management systems across Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment BU’s in support of an overall incident reduction strategy.
- The HSE manager role will also act as a MAF Entertainment sustainability champion supporting the overall implementation of the overall MAF sustainability agenda “Dare today, Change tomorrow.
Duties of A Health & Safety Manager
- Support the development and the implementation of the Health, Safety, and Food Safety strategies, as well as Sustainability agenda, that align with our MAF Entertainment visions and objectives.
- Ensure that all new sites and stores comply with MAF Entertainment’s HSMS, FSMS, QMS, and EMS requirements and local regulations before opening.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential risks, hazards, and areas for improvement, Critical Control Points (CCP) in health, safety, and food safety.
- Support the development and execution of the HSMS, FSMS, EMS, & QMS integrating health, safety, environment, and food safety.
- Provide expert guidance and support to operations and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and food safety.
- Analyze statistical data to identify trends and work collaboratively to develop and enhance health, safety, and food safety processes.
- Lead independent investigations into incidents, addressing causation levels comprehensively and tracking actions to closure.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, supplemented by a range of relevant professional qualifications.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Health & Safety / Food Safety.
Skills Desired
- Excellent communication skills in English, (bilingual with (Arabic/Hindi) language will be an advantage).
- Highfield “Train the Trainer” qualifications/accreditation would be an advantage.
- Graduate Member of IOSH or higher / Level 3 or higher Award in Managing HACCP in food business.
