- Handling phone inquiries regarding the menu, seating, and feedback is also part of the role.
- Furthermore, the Guest Relations Executive supervises the hostess team, managing wait times, task allocation, and seating arrangements.
- They maintain waiting lists, reservations, and seating charts throughout service, constantly monitoring dining rooms for guest well-being.
- Effective communication with the Restaurant Manager and front-of-house staff is key, as is training and developing new hostesses.
- Compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and reporting of incidents is essential.
- Building rapport with repeat guests to foster loyalty and boost revenue, along with a comprehensive understanding of resort facilities and offerings, including promotions and special events, rounds out the role’s responsibilities.
