About the Role
The GP Practitioner at CallADOC will provide remote medical consultations to patients across Dubai and the UAE through the telehealth platform. Furthermore, the physician will diagnose and treat a wide range of general medical conditions, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists when necessary. Moreover, this role combines traditional medical expertise with modern telehealth delivery, offering a flexible and impactful practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual medical consultations with patients via secure video and audio platforms
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions through telemedicine
- Prescribe medications and issue electronic prescriptions in compliance with DHA regulations
- Develop patient management plans and provide follow-up care through the telehealth system
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate continuity of care when required
- Maintain comprehensive electronic medical records for all patient interactions
- Provide health education and preventive care advice to patients remotely
- Contribute to clinical protocol development for telemedicine best practices
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and clinical governance activities
Requirements
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a General Practitioner
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general practice or family medicine
- Experience with telemedicine or virtual consultations is highly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills in English
- Familiarity with electronic health records and digital health tools
