Regent International School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to deliver stimulating lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Design engaging schemes of work that incorporate fieldwork, case studies, and real-world applications
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely and actionable feedback
• Organise and lead geographical fieldwork and educational visits
• Collaborate with the Humanities faculty to develop cross-curricular projects and resources
• Use a wide range of teaching strategies to support diverse learners within the classroom
• Contribute to enrichment activities and clubs related to Geography and current global affairs
• Maintain detailed student records and produce accurate reports for parents
• Champion Positive Education principles within all aspects of classroom and school life

Requirements and Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a Geography specialism
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within a British curriculum school
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A-Level Geography syllabi and examination techniques
• Ability to inspire students with a genuine passion for the subject and the wider world
• Experience organising or leading geographical fieldwork is highly desirable
• Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all students
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
