The successful candidate will join the Aster team at Medcare Women and Children Hospital in Dubai. Role of General Practitioner OBGYN

Apply medical knowledge and skills for diagnosing, preventing and in treatment of infections and diseases, and providing quality care to patients in Obstetrics and Gynecology department.

Duties of General Practitioner OBGYN

• Provision of preventive and promotive healthcare services for patients.
• Provide quality care, following standard protocols as per privileges of General Practitioner defined by DOH.
• Inform Consultant/ Specialist for complex cases or where need arises.
• Prescribe medicines.
• Advise lab tests or Radiology diagnosis on need.
• Work in OPD, Labor room, Operation theatre, wards and Emergency.
• Provide support for patient transfe.
• Actively take part in seminars, conferences and lectures to stay updated on latest trends.
• Take history of patients and make notes for reference.
• Educate and guide patients regarding the disease and healthy lifestyle.

Education & Experience

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• 1 year internship post graduation.
• 1-2 years of experience in OBGYN setup.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of reproductive health and latest treatments.
• Effective communication skills.
