General Practitioner Nephrology Canadian Specialist Hospital UAE

Canadian Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner Nephrology in Dubai. The incumbent will provide specialized medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with kidney related conditions.

Duties of General Practitioner Nephrology

• Diagnose and treat patients according to established standards of best practice.
• Examines, diagnoses and treats patients as assigned.
• Participate and perform ward rounds.
• Assess and reassess inpatients as clinically appropriate.
• Evaluate newly referred patients and assess admission illegibility.
• Review appropriate referrals accepted by the facility.
• Oversees the organization of tests, chases and records results.
• Accurately documents all relevant clinical information in a clear and timely manner.
• Reviews results of all investigation and modifies treatment in a timely manner.
• Supervises and supports newly appointed physicians as determined by the physician in charge.
• Liaises with other outsourced medical specialties and support services for additional input as required.
• Oversees preparation of patients for procedures and outsourced surgeries.
• Provides coverage on a rotational basis including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualification & Experience

The position of General Practitioner Nephrology, requires the following:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school (followed by internship/residency).
• 2 years experience of post internship.
• ICU Experience preferred.

Certification & Licensure

• DOH current license.
• BLS provider.
• PALS provider.
• ACLS provider.

Skills & Competencies for General Practitioner Nephrology

• Basic and advanced airway management skills.
• Basic ventilator management skills mandatory.
